The NFL had a simple winning business model. Play football. Telecast football. Collect exorbitant advertiser revenues thru high viewership.

Now they’re working very hard to destroy the business model. It’s not easy to do, but they might succeed.

The current group of owners and players will mostly walk away with a bunch of cash. I know the journeymen players will get hit hard, but, oh well. The people it will hurt the most are the crop of college and high school players who would eventually end up in the pro sport.

I think it would also decimate college sports and that is a good thing. Get back to learning (if that is possible in these times of worthless degrees) rather than the juggernaut of college sports.
