As conservatives are typically Christians or at the very least believe in the fundamentals of the Bible and that would be a simple concept: marriage
Marriage as of course defined as between a man and a woman
That this bond be true ; be significant ; and be forever for all eternity and for life to spring forward from that bond!

In fact they want to destroy a marriage; by any number of different means
