I don't know about that - his son Sean openly opposes woke culture and has called out the media's left-wing bias. I tend to think John Lennon would have been of the same mindset.

I think you're right. People like Lennon crave being a leader, or at least a part of, the "in-crowd".

However, it does make we wonder if Yoko Ono had anything to do with his murder.
