Ugh! Is the mud turning to cement now, with all the heat?

You just cannot get a break this season! Been there, done that. :(

Tell Mrs. Augie that I’m making Zoodles, tomorrow. Spiralized zucchini that you can use in place of noodles.

It’s one of the few reasons I grow the stuff! ;)

How old do you have to be before you no longer squirt yourself in the FACE with the sprinkler when you're setting it up in the garden? Asking for a friend...

As of today, the answer is: NOT 61! *SMIRK*

Six hours later - The Big Garden is all watered. 1 hour each, moved the sprinkler SIX times. Potatoes, Sweet Corn, Pumpkins, Winter Squash, Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Butternut Squash, Sunflowers, Gladiolus, Spaghetti Squash, an extra Zucchini plant and some random Kale is sopping wet and very happy! As am I! Send rain! We desperately NEED it!

Turned to cement is exactly what it did.

It’s been a couple seasons since I’ve added a proper amount of stall waste to the soil. I will remedy that before winter comes.
