Israel released their Pfizer data. It’s 39% effective for preventing infection from the Delta variant of COVID. That’s significantly lower than the 50% standard groups like the CDC traditionally use to say a vaccine is worth taking. The UK also just released data saying the Pfizer vaccine is 88% effective against COVID infection. But their number is based on data taken before the Delta variant was active. Also, their data pool is much smaller as most people in the UK were given the AstraZeneca vaccine. Almost all Israelis were given the Pfizer vaccine. The UK has also determined that the best timing interval for the Pfizer vaccine is 8 weeks between shots. That’s less than the 12 weeks they were using, but much longer than the 2 weeks the United States uses. Keep in mind that what all this means is that some of the leading health organizations in the western world really don’t know much about the vaccine they are asking everyone to take. 6 months ago, they all claimed the Pfizer vaccine was 97% effective at keeping people from getting COVID. Now it’s 39% and instead of saying it will keep you from getting COVID, they are now saying it will keep you from getting a serious case of COVID. Nice thought except before any vaccines existed, only a small percent of people who got COVID got a serious case of COVID. Most people who get it have a mild case or remain asymptomatic whether they’ve been vaccinated or not.
One last point to ponder as the Delta variant takes over the US. The CDC has asked vaccinated Americans not to get tested for COVID unless they need to be hospitalized. Think about that when the media pushes numbers regarding who is currently getting COVID in this country. It grossly skews the data to show unvaccinated people getting COVID, while hiding the reality (as seen in the UK and Israel) that vaccinated people are getting it as well. Nothing about this virus has been handled honestly. What a shame.
It's turning in to a situation like climate change. Point out all the bad data, duplicitous actions taken by those pushing the narrative, and the inconsistencies in measures taken to deal with it and you are label an anti-science bigot who wants people to die; who should be censored, re-educated or even killed.
I don't think even the CDC and MSM can avoid this one.
The sheeple who cried out for a vaccine -- 65+, now over 85% 'at least one dose' -- are also then, the largest available population for breakthrough COVID infections.
When breakthroughs become the norm in the US by Halloween, that same cadre will rage for 3rd shot/masks/shutdowns/money.
Then there will be no hiding that fact. The MSM will have to try to use the exact. same. population. they utilized the first time to attempt shutdowns again this winter.

Despite the fact that the original Pfizer 2-jab in Israel provided 88% protection against hospitalization and 91% against severe illness.
The only good news about any of this is that I'm far removed from the goddamn nonsense that goes on in blue states and happily unvaxxed, having had the gleep very early (before 2000).
