Contacting and recovering from the Covid does build up immunity. For some people though their risk factor does not make that the best means of doing so. This is true for any virus.
Have a friend who got Covid and then the first dose shortly thereafter because he “had an appointment.” He was hospitalized and almost died. Lost almost all of his hair. He’s so brainwashed that he got the second dose. Is still really sick.

The information out of Israel in regards to the delta variant,( which does not differentiate between naturally immune vs not immune unvacinated), tells a different story. The vaccines are what the call “leaky” and non sterilizing. This was warned about early on. Pay attention to the efficacy of the vacines against the variants. If you want the Israeli data you have use google translate to change it from hebrew, as well as a huge amount of formatting.

It appears people can find the data that supports their own angle. Many are skeptical of government sand it’s agencies and support the scientists banned from government controlled social media. While others trust government sources, agencies and media supporters. Interesting times.

Actually Kaiser is testing for antibodies, I’ve been tested twice, as part of a study. I have antibodies 9 months out.
I just heard a Johns Hopkins Dr say yesterday that they don’t know. He said they think those who have already been sick and recovered may have immumity for 6 months or more & might need 1 shot as a booster. They don’t know yet.
Moderna immunized both doses back in Feb/March. Masked Karen vaccinated spouse traveled back from Denver in May. Three days later, I was sick sick for two and a half days on weekend, lowgrade fever & chills, COULD NOT SEE FOR ALL OF THE TEARING, and weird smells. Monday morning finally got to my veterinary drug distributor and took 200# dose of ivermectin paste, and signs disappeared in 45 minutes, i kid you not.
My wife denies i had covid. Earlier in Spring, had occasions for two different Covid screen tests negative post exposure, so didn’t waste a third trip for the real deal.
Told her, with my immunization history, likely exposure and correct incubation, presence of signs, remission of signs with treatment, that i IDENTIFY as having had covid, and there is no denying that. Haven’t worn a mask since last fall. Shouldn’t have worn it at all. Done.
