Prime Minister Naftali Bennett issued a fresh appeal on Thursday for all Israelis to get the coronavirus vaccine, accusing those eligible to get vaccinated who have not done so of endangering the rest of the country.
In a primetime television address from Tel Aviv, Bennett said the government’s aim is to allow Israelis to go about their lives unimpeded and not to reimpose COVID-19 lockdown measures.
“We want to have an open and safe country. We are managing this campaign responsibly… and on the basis of facts and data,” Bennett said.
Asserting vaccines alone were insufficient to cope with the more contagious Delta variant, which has been largely blamed for the resurgence of infections in Israel, Bennett urged all Israelis older than 12 to get immunized.
“Every citizen over age 12 who doesn’t have a medical reason not to must go get vaccinated,” he said.
“One million Israelis are refusing to get vaccinated,” Bennett continued. “They are endangering the entire population, they are endangering the other 8 million citizens in the country.”
He warned that the vaccine holdouts could cause the government to impose a fourth national lockdown since the pandemic began.

If Israelis are being hospitalized after receiving a shot that the Israeli government promoted, Iran might simply pull up a lawn chair, grab some popcorn, and watch.
In one respect they are right - I am very dangerous.
Geez, I ran into a vet yesterday who complained about all the “yahoos” out there who are a threat because they aren’t vaccinated and won’t wear a mask. This was at a VA facility where masking is reportedly to be permanent - per screeners. No casualties to report.
Jeez, if you’re vaccinated you are NOT ENDANGERED by someone else who has chosen to NOT get vaccinated.

There is no need for further lockdowns.
Millions of potential customers and employees are vaccinated and protected.
So...has everyone who wants one had opportunity to get one?
If so, then what legitimate point does the lockdown have?
So the vaccinated in Israel caused a mutation among the nonvaccinated in India?
The more a virus spreads the more likely it is mutations can develop - not the opposite.

Is this an admission the vaccine doesn’t work? If not, what are they wringing their hands about? Those who chose not to get inoculated know the risk. It’s their choice. And they aren’t endangering anyone who has been inoculated (Unless, of course, the vaccine doesn’t work, and the powers that be understand that and they’re afraid we’re going to sort it all out)
