They made good beer? Saw how woke SA got?

Well, I used to really enjoy Sam Adams and I used to really enjoy enjoy Yards but not anymore. Cancel culture works both ways. I refuse to give money to any business that donates to BLM or the militant LBG (whatever). But not every craft brewer is "woke". Victory out of PA or Dogfish Head out of DE are 2 that come to mind but I am sure there are others who just want to make good brew and not virtue signal.

Craft beers were a refreshing changes over the insipid swill that was the American beer scene until the late 80s. Unfortunately most of them today are way overpriced ($14.99 for a 4 pack of 16oz.? NFW!) or put ingredients in beer (ex. peanut butter, coconut, etc) that should not be in beer.

Back in the 90s, Samuel Adams played up the patriotic angle quite heavily, and that made a billionaire out of Jim Koch. The big about-face they did in 2014 over homosexuals in St. Patrick’s Day Parade, siding with a leftist group called “MassEquality”, is truly a nauseating move.
