Everyone’s gloating in that ghoulish FR way, but we don’t know the story here, at all. Was the old guy really a pervert? He was not known to police; had no criminal record. Was he senile? People in the grip of dementia can say/do strange things. Pedophilia is disgusting and deserves to be punished, but I am not rushing to judgment on this.

They are convicting this guy and ratifying his death sentence based on an accusation scrawled on his compose by his anonymous murderer. Accusations to which he has no opportunity to respond because his accuser murdered him.
But hey, no need for due process. “Believe all anonymous murderers!”
