Australia is nuts. Geez, I wonder how long I see New South Wales(NSW) license plates start showing up on Texas highways, as I see the California plates.

“nuts” is too kind a word. it should be CRIMINAL.

meanwhile, in the State of South Australia, people will now be removed from their homes, even if they are totally healthy. they are only guilty of being caught by the QR codes:

22 July: news.com.au: Hundreds forced into hotels over venue alert as South Australia records two new local Covid-19 cases
Hundreds of people are being forced into hotel quarantine ‘immediately’ amid concerns surrounding the ‘high risk locations’ they attended.

Hundreds of South Australians will be forced to complete two weeks of quarantine in medi-hotels as authorities fight to quash two “superspreading” events.
The direction, which is mandatory, comes after the state recorded two new locally acquired Covid-19 cases on Thursday...

SA has recorded only 14 cases in its most recent outbreak, but chief public health officer Nicola Spurrier said she was “very concerned” about the sites because of the testing figures...

There are currently about 4000 people in quarantine with 13,610 people who have been to one of the listed exposure sites...

A minor change to the directions was also made on Thursday, allowing a single person over the age of 16 who lives alone or who does not live with their spouse to visit a friend or partner if no one else is home...

meanwhile, in Sydney, thousands of workers, in particular tradesmen, in certain suburbs, have to be tested every 3 days in order to be allowed to go to work. it can take hours to line up in their vehicles to get drive-through testing! it’s too much to even outline in a comment on FR. however, the rest of the world needs to take note, because Australia has almost NO covid, yet officials are behaving like absolute tyrants.
