Since this happened at a memory care unit in a small city and they don’t typically have that many patients, I’m guessing the percentage re-infected may have been 1/2. That’s a lot.
They can just hire the illegals coming across the border. Evidently Covid does not effect them in any way.
My daughter didn’t get it. She’s not necessarily an anti-vaxer but she does a lot of research on what’s in them. The insert (not the one page they give you) has a lot more information.
Not all the residents were vaccinated either. They were given a choice. Those with dementia it was left up to their families whether they got it or not.

Residents are a different conversation. But it’s the staff who are gonna infect the residents. Any staff member who doesn’t give a s**t about the health or safety of their clients is in the wrong line of work.
Biden’s FDA should get off their butts and approve it. Trump’s FDA evaluated safety in record time and approved it for the current health emergency. Hundreds of millions of people have been vaccinated without incident.
Nope. Vaccines dramatically reduce asymptomatic transmission. Not perfectly but to a huge extent.
No, not all residents are vaccinated. Protocols are still in place. Staff and visitors temped at the door. Unvaccinated staff tested weekly. 4 time a day temp and O2 checks on all residents. Evaluation for symptoms, such as cough, fever, nausea, loss of smell, shortness of breath, etc. New unvaccinated people are put in 14 day isolation.
A Covid breakout started in August and ran through October before the vaccines were available. Many residents caught it, but most didn’t. A separate unit was set up for those diagnosed. Most recovered, a few died. About half the staff contracted Covid at some point. One death of an office person who had co-morbidities and over 65. No further cases since then in the facility. I didn’t get it.
I don't really understand this. They've admitted that people taking part of this experimental drug test can get infected just like those of us in the control group. There is no logic to your position.
People who wear seat belts can also die in car crashes. What is it you don't understand?
This may shock you, but it takes years in order to see the effects of vaccines over years. Its this Empirical evidence obsession that real scientist have. I know that its so very inferior to your bombastic pronouncements, but it seems to hold sway in the FDA, although not in the CDC.
