Actually, the money that football and basketball brings in to the College is used to fund intramural and womens sports, along with mens sports like wrestling, volleyball, tennis, softball and soccer that draw flies. If the players are making the money, less for the schools, means that all other sports will be funded in a piddling way.

Clay Helton, Clay Helton, Clay Helton, is the worst coach in power 5 College football.

Eat it SC blind boosters, digest it, USC Football is rotting on the bone under Coach Clay Helton!!!

This kid was a one time SC commit!

But then Cincinnati took over USC, and the tampon brigade decided to keep the worst power 5 coach in America at the helm of USC!

Thank you SC boosters!!!!!

It’s OK, because he is a POC - player of color.

Wait until the situation is reversed and there is no “equity” for the team …

He has 5 career completions. This money is 100% based on the name and image of the University of Alabama.

It's hard to imagine the monsters these athletes will become on campus.

Agree. Some of those kids are not able to even afford basic necessities on campus. They go where they are told, do what they are told to do and all the while the colleges are making millions off of their success. And no a scholarship isn’t their reward. Some of those kids can’t handle the academics. They are there for the football only and the schools and coaches don’t give a damn about making sure they are prepared for life outside graduation.

Seems fair since the option of earning big money as a pro is probably nearing the end. Who will pay to watch games between virtue-signalling kneeling America-hating wokester trannies?

Good for him. Especially cause he’s kinda thin. There’s no guarantee he’ll even get a sniff from the NFL. Might as well make some money.

Nah, it’ll be fine. And for the first time in its existence it won’t be morally questionable. There’s no reason why the people creating a multi-billion dollar industry shouldn’t get paid. The NCAA’s addiction to the illusion of amateurism was always stupid. Decades past when that should have ended.

Oh, Jefferson.. Bring my Bentley around front, will you?

I have a class at 11. Practice at 1 and home by 4.

Letting the ox munch on the grain stalks for a change instead of muzzling them?

The NCAA.. We could have done better.. but the pay was the same.
