that’s the real question here. He’s either had an accident and a massive amount of bruising, or he’s very very sick.
That’s from about a year ago. Don’t know the details, however.
My old man had hands like that - not quite that bad, but still. He had circulation problems caused by a lifetime of smoking. He had to have his aorta bypassed in his gut when he was in his 50s - MAJOR surgery that. Of course as bad as that was, it wasn’t enough to get him to quit the smoking. His hands looked okay still at that point. Over time in his 70s they began to just looked bruised all the time. He died of lung cancer right after he turned 80 so we never really saw the ultimate consequences of having purple hands for years would be. Surely not good though.
You know.. if we had a FReeper that got “vaxxed” and passed away, there is a possibility that we would never know about it (no family, like me, or family/friends don’t know anything about FR).
