“fully vaccinated”
They keep using those words, but they mean something completely different to them than what they should mean.
“fully vaccinated” to the estaishment means that a person has a card with some stickers and writing on it. It’s a function of paperwork, not of any intrensic biological or medical value. Sure, the card represents that you had one of several injections to protect against a disease, but it appears that different injections have different capacities to protect against the disease (if you don’t want to point fingers at astra zenica, you can use the Russian and Chinese vaccines to see that proof), and the idea of natural immunity after recovering from the disease isn’t captured on any paperwork, so the value isn’t in the protection, but in the paperwork.
We’re measuring the wrong things. The ability for people in America to fend off disease by collecting a piece of paper with stickers on it is cargo cult thinking.
