I get it now. A smart camera system could count in person voters.
Here is the short fall: 1) this doesnt help with mail in fraud. 2) Arent we already too deep into the surveillance of citizens society?
Cameras and open viewing of the counting and tabulation of votes is a necessity. However, while we are almost always under the view of some camera system these days, I dont encourage more of that, especially by big brother. If you were to replace your camera with a person counting people in, and comparing that to vote count, that would be ok by me, though I think thats already done in most polling places.
Valid, up to date voter rolls, where dead people have been scrubbed, and a voter ID requirement (show a state issued drivers license with valid address to compare with he voter rolls). No drop boxes and open mail ins except deployed military.
