So, tomorrow at 9:00am EDT, the Blue Origin New Sheppard is planned to launch into the West Texas skies, carrying its first human passengers to the edge of space.
The question is: will the world's richest man, Jeff Besos, pull off this stunt as fellow billionaire Sir Richard Branson did a few days ago?
He's supposed to go higher than Branson did, not to mention that he'll be accompanied by both the world's oldest (82) and youngest (18) people to go into space.
And yes...it’s Bezos....
Bezos is going? I will pray fervently. That’s all I’m gonna say...
If I understand your drift, I’m sure there will be a bunch of people praying for the same thing.
*wink wink*
You do understand. lol
I hope so.
Blue Origin Lunch? Hoagie sandwiches? Yeah I’ll have fries with that. Oh wait I read the article all wrong.
The guy looks freakish.
Named after the first American astronaut in space, Alan Shepard, one of the original NASA Mercury Seven astronauts, who ascended to space in 1961 on a suborbital trajectory.
Regards,
He’s barely DOING anything! Slightly higher than Branson’s silly plane ride. Much ado about nothing.
I will pray for his safety.
(Especially as an Amazon shareholder)
Someone seriously needs to photoshop the Amibiguously Gay Duo riding on the side of Bezos’ flying space penis.
If he dies then will the workers at Amazon be better off?
I know what I’m hoping for. Frankly, even though I know I should be ashamed for the thought, I’M NOT!
I hope it goes perfectly, three lives at stake.
I pray that it will go safely. Anything otherwise will set back private space exploration.
The real question is since Elin has a working orbital spaceship the Dragon 2 why doesn’t he just pick 6 friends and take one up for a half day in orbit then land in the Gulf of Mexico. No additional work needed he already has a human rates spaceship that has twice now sent people to the ISS it would be super easy to just go up orbit for 12 hours or 24 and come back the Dragon certainly has the endurance for it. So why let Bezo be the “first”
I’m no psychic, but I’m troubled by visions of his rocket exploding on the launch pad. I sincerely hope I’m wrong.
probably it will
