I could make the “New Republic” the richest country in the world in 5 short years.

No corporate taxes.
Regulate trade through import and export tariffs with foreign nations. BTW, that is how the New Republic gets much of its funding.
States collect the taxes-and no state is allowed to tax income of any kind, they collect sales taxes and take their bite off the top and a per cent to the federal government for national defense. etc. And the New Republic can only spend this year what is brought in last year-balanced budget.
All currency is backed by a commodity. No currency is printed otherwise.
The federal government CAN NOT control any land within any state.
