FORT RUCKER, Ala. (WIAT) — Fort Rucker in southeast Alabama has become the first military base in the United States to require proof of vaccination from any unmasked personnel.
In a video posted by local military officials on July 12, Commanding General David Francis outlined the change, which he said was due to rising rates of coronavirus infection in the counties around the base.
“Due to the rising rates in the counties around us and some on Fort Rucker, we’re now implementing G.O. number 12,” Francis said in the video. “The big difference is going to be that if you are not wearing a mask, the leadership will be able to ask you, ask soldiers, to prove that they’ve been vaccinated by showing their vaccination card.”
The order applies only to unmasked, uniformed military personnel on the military base. The new general order that forces that change emphasizes that “taking the COVID-19 vaccine remains an individual choice.” However, those soldiers without proof of vaccination will be required to mask when on base.
Dale County, where Fort Rucker is primarily located, has experience a 440 percent increase in coronavirus cases over the last 14 days, according to data compiled by the New York Times...

I thought our government and military was smarter than his.
I am beginning to think we deserve what we will be getting...I hope our military men and women are smarter than whoever came up with this idea.
Listen up, military gurus, the virus population as a whole and in particular is much too, too small to be deterred by a mask of any sort. Why don’t you read the science behind this statement or is it much easier just to order masks and hope it does some good...knowing in your heart of hearts it will not!!

I remember my Army years when war fighting was our concern.
Immediate and Honorable Discharges for and soldiers that refuse to take the experimental vaccine.
Do they have to wear the mask to a fire fight?
Since the CCP-Coronavirus was Bio-weapon, perhaps they should insist on full NBC gear.

Looks like the vaccines are failing quite rapidly now (Israel, UK, etc) so aside from Sleepy Joe’s outbursts I doubt this policy will last very long.
HIPAA is irrelevant. It’s toothless. It doesn’t apply in these vaccine scenarios. It never did. I wish people would quit thinking it’s some kind of magic talisman, because it gives people a false sense of security.
Vaccine mandates are vile, evil and unAmerican. They should be opposed, but HIPAA was never the answer.
The masks won’t make any difference. The human population has now been used for the world’s largest gain of function experiment. Administering the less than perfect vaccines has resulted in the natural selection of more transmissible variants.
The ‘breakthrough’ cases will continue with or without masks. In fact it appears those who are vaccinated are more susceptible to the variants as their bodies now have an immune response which no longer fully matches the virus. Unvaccinated and those who acquired natural immunity have their body’s innate immune response system which is not yet fully understood, but far more sophisticated than any artificially induced immunity.

I’d take either one and part ways.
The more woke the military is the less likely warriors will apply. The more woke the nation becomes the less desire to defend the flag and nation. This all transpires with little resistance.
My son tried wearing his protective mask to a QTB. The Brigade CO made him take it off.
Everyday more highly credentialed doctors/virologist and other medical experts are speaking out and saying these injections are an engineered bio-weapon.
So, now our military has to take them?
This country better wake up!
