She starts with a non-sequitor.
Her opening gambit is that immigration reform is about "keeping the others out" and she immediately follows this with "even though this country was founded on genocide". Which doesn't follow at all. She's connecting two talking points with no real link.
Kirk ignores her second "point" and refutes the idea that "we keep others out" by stating facts about how welcoming we are.
If this country is so bad, why do all those people want to come here? I saw a video of college students being shown the the Cuban people waving American flags. One girl said she was from Ukraine, and that people there love America, said she was told you can have everything here. But said when she got here she found out you have to work for things.
