Antivirus pioneer and tech outlaw John McAfee blew his $100 million fortune on 'bizarre' mansions and really was broke when he died in a Spanish prison, according to an author who collaborated with him.
Soon before his death on June 23, McAfee claimed in a tweet that he had no hidden cash and was worth 'nothing' -- though he had ample reason to conceal his wealth, with the US government seeking to seize his assets on charges of tax evasion.
In addition to the feds, the question of McAfee's estate is also of interest to his family, including his widow and staunch supporter Janice, who insists that his death may not have been a suicide, as Spanish authorities found.

Damn…I was worried that John would spill his gut on the stash I’m holding for him. /sarc
Trying to reinforce the suicide narrative…
I hope McAfee and John DeLorean are in a good place.
so where is the Death Certificate ?
Like Epstein he is on an island, except in poor McAfee is hanging out at Club Gitmo
His wealth was bound up in untraceable crypto currency so of course it looked like he was broke on paper. He was likely tortured for passcodes before being suicided.
And the mansions are “bizarre” crypto-mansions that cannot be located?
This is one weird story.
Broke, crazy and jailed. Maybe he did commit suicide.
“Trying to reinforce the suicide narrative…”
An official recorded cause of death by a coronoer is not a narrative in the real world.
The claim that he was murdered is a narrative.
That’s the usual recipe !
One thing is for sure, he didn’t take any money with him.
Hillary once described herself as “Dead Broke”. She must have been down to her last $10 Million.
by whom and why? He was in that jail for months, why now, just before being extradited? Sometimes, things are just as they seem.
Please do not feel sorry for McAffee. He was a rotten man.
McAfee didn't kill himself?
if he was broke, then there’s no reason for him to commit suicide for ‘tax evasion’ since there was nothing to tax and a whole lot of losses to write off
