Garlic question! I just dug it so its a little dirty yet I kept the varieties separate but did not mark them, one row I only got 3 bulbs, the row was full like the other on the left, but in the last 4 or 5 days when the mosquitos were so bad most of the row just disappeared. Could not find even a trace just 3 bulbs. Something got it but there was no sign of digging. We have had a mole problem but I read moles don't like garlic. But I digress I also noticed each variety had different seeds - one has tiny seed heads and the other had little bulblets near the base of the plant. Does that tell me the variety?? Also when can I plant these? Right away? I am in Michigan.. And do the seed heads get broken up for planting? Thanks for any advice O Wise One!

Since it is my first garlic success of course I am thrilled!!
