Smileyface; The WI Senate approved Funerary liquification of corpses which I have heard of. Like Cremation it destroys the body. I do not particularly like the idea of rendering a human with lye, or reducing them to liquid through purification.
I think that the reporter goes overboard in saying that they will be sprayed on fields or dumped in the sewer system. (I suppose they could be.)
Where I go to church they have a Garden and Columbarium where they inter ashes of passed parishioners. Much more respectiful.

If you are an illegitimate government with a lot of c.w. casualties or a secret organization that needs to dispose of corpses it does not leave much of a legal trail against the back ground of legalized body disposal.
