I just wiggle my finger for “leave it”. Sometimes I just think it and they leave it. They know the face probably. I could probably discipline the Mini-German (she’s just small at 45 lbs) to hold it, but the crazy Lab/Aussie no freakin way. I probably should have a command for hold. That’s not the same as “git it”.
