If we could only persuade the coach to quit the team.

I assume the olympics will be nothing more than the woke new world order on parade. I remember the ā€œblack powerā€ olympics of ā€˜68. Will this be the ā€œkill the deplorable whitey denierā€ olympics?

Foot and lower leg injuries have plagued that guy his whole career.

He lacks athleticism, explosiveness, burst, hip swivel, and a room-brightening smile; but, they will miss his blue collar attitude and motor that never quits. He’s a crafty throwback player.

He did the right thing if he was physically limited.

At his healthiest, he was a good player, a consistent double-double threat. He could also make the threes.

Unfortunately, the past 2 years, he has been plagued by injuries.

At least he was honest enough to know his limitations, to which he has to be given credit.

Was a great player when healthy in his prime. It’s ridiculous what has happened to the NBA and NFL. .. Don’t want to divulge more, but I’ve been around the NBA since the 70s. Something I scribbled out for some people today. I’m sorry it’s so long. Kevin Love might be done. The little he played last year, he played hurt. Don’t know if he’ll retire, but he’s a pretty fair-minded guy apart from the occasional tantrum, and there’s a real chance he and the Cavs agree on a buyout of his huge contract. NO WAY they win Game 7 at Golden State without him. Play-by-play breakdown showed that just 5 of the 89 points the Warriors scored were his responsibility. That includes one-on-one, switches, pick-and-rolls, fouls, getting rebounded over, everything. He dominated the boards (14). Good playmaking and numerous key plays that ā€œdon’t show up in the stats.ā€ Cavs outscored Warriors by 19 points in the 30 minutes he played. Cavs were outscored by 15 points in the 18 minutes he didn’t play. The reason he didn’t play 35-38 minutes was two first-quarter fouls. Scored just 9 points but took just 9 shots. In the last 2:30, not only did he shut down Curry twice on the same possession, but on two other possessions, he defended in the paint and then made great closeouts to force Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala missed 3-point shots. Love and Green were officially listed as the starting power forwards, but they seldom matched up. Green scored zero points as Love’s responsibility, missing both of his shots against Love. Green scored 32 points, making six 3-pointers, as Cavs game plan included basically giving him the 3. But James and Smith gave Green way too much space after switches. Tyronn Lue supposedly yelled at James about that at halftime, when Golden State led 52-44. The 5 total Warriors points Love was responsible for over the entire game were two Klay Thompson 2-pointers, and Love playing Andy Varejao too strong to one side, allowing Andy to take Love to the hoop, getting fouled by Love, and making 1 of 2 free throws. Sorry to write so long!!
