The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is straight out of Dr. Strangelove

Recent revelations about General Mark Milley show some who is out of control and who has lost track of the fact that our military has civilian leadership.

SNIP

Milley, 63, is not a graduate of America’s military academies. Instead, he’s an Ivy League product, having attended Princeton and Columbia. Apparently, at least as to Milley, the rot had already started to set in when he attended those institutions.

For many of us, Milley entered our consciousness on June 23, when he insisted that West Pointers should study Critical Race Theory and that he, especially, wanted to understand “White rage.” At that moment, when he openly embraced CRT, complete with its claims about White Supremacy, systemic racism, and White privilege, Milley imposed upon himself an obligation immediately to resign from his position and to insist that someone Black – anyone Black – take his place. Until Milley walks away from his White privileged position, he’s just a very dangerous, virtue-signaling windbag.

But that’s not all Milley is. It’s unclear why President Trump, in 2018, nominated Milley to serve as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. It was probably yet another bad piece of advice that Trump, who was wise to how the real world works but utterly naïve about Washington, received from those “in the know” who were trying to destroy him. As it turned out, Milley was at the top of the list of those who despised Trump and all 75-80 million of his supporters, and desperately wanted to see them destroyed. destroyed.

Has anyone here actually served with Millet?

He’s already indicated he most certainly will along with the rest of the joint chiefs. We are brownshirts according to this perfumed prince.

If Milley wants to understand the “white rage” that drove people on Jan 6, he needs to watch the Az election audit hearing by Karen Fann on July 15 to catch a clue.

Note to Milley - the rage is 100% justified, it's getting more outrageous and it ain't going away any time soon.

The Establishment narrative about the Trump “big lie” is falling apart in the face of hard evidence to the contrary.

Worse for them, over half of America didn't buy their bogus “big lie” smoke screen right from the start and public opinion is only going to get more negative for the establishment as time goes on and more evidence is pried out of their clutched fingers.

Their “Big Lie” narrative was itself the big lie they tried to propagandize to the American people.

The general, and the entirety of our military leadership, need to read two books: the Platoon Leaders Handbook, and Once an Eagle. I read both as a young butterbar and platoon leader. Both were key to my development as an officer, to aspire to be a Sam Damon, while avoiding the Courtney Massengales that were infecting the Army.

I took the message of the Leaders Handbook to heart: everything my unit does, or fails to do, is my responsibility alone. To some, I became a real PITA. Didn't care: if my neck was truly on the line, then stay the hell out of my way and let me do my job.

I got along so well with my last battalion commander in Germany (after a rocky start), he asked me to work for him when we both landed back at Fort Bliss, installing me as his Operations Officer, a young Captain in a position slotted for a Lt Colonel.

The Army is now inundated with Courtney Massengales, while Sam Damons are leaving the military in droves. They're putting officers in command positions that should not be allowed 100 yards within troops. When I was asked about a Battery Commander I had whom I was crosswise with, I'd simply say, "he's a great staff officer."

I think, not only would he be willing to do that, but I think he is frothing at the mouth, hoping for the opportunity, to do exactly that
/\

Yup, the ‘white rage’ he sees behind everything is his own ,

and he IS chomping at the bit to use his and the CIA and FBI guns

on the systemic racism he sees embodied in our constitution and our Constitutional Republic

and any citizen or service member who wishes to defend the Constitutional Republic.

General, you’ve been found by saying the quiet part out loud

Excellent point. With the Big Guy being mentally incompetent and the country being run by... by uh, persons not really known for sure, look for the infighting to begin.

Maybe starting with some OTHER asshole’s response to Milley shooting off his mouth like this.

Maybe they’ll all turn one against the other like back in the Old Testament and start shooting each other.

That would be a shame.

Just googled and downloaded a free copy. Here are the opening words:

A platoon leader (PL) and platoon sergeant’s (PSG’s) primary job is to inspire and influence their platoon to accomplish the mission. They do this by providing purpose, direction, and motivation to accomplish the mission and improve the organization.1 PLs and PSGs are responsible for all missions their platoon accomplishes or fails. This responsibility comes with the position, but they are only successful because of character, presence, and intellect.

Notice that it says, repeatedly "A platoon leader and platoon sergeant"

It's not about the ego of the 2nd lieuie who thinks he is charge having run absolutely nothing in his life before this. It's a partnership between him and the sergeant who got where he is, for the most part [all human institutions are fallible], by proving he could do the job.

It's similar in the Navy and it was amusing to watch the Chief Petty Officers trying to deal with ringknocker Ensigns and convince them that they did not yet know everything there was to know about life.

The US military/Joint Chiefs of Staff, along with the Federal government are the enemy of the American people.

Bwahahaa, in the PLs Handbook appears this quote:

“Our No. 1 task, bar none, remains readiness. Readiness for what? Readiness for war. Readiness for the intense combat of ground operations of any type, anywhere in the world. That is our task. And I can tell you that it has never been more important than it is today.”
— GEN Mark A. Milley, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, 10 October 2017

Well that is a lie because we now know that the no 1 task was to suppress the will of the people and get Trump out of office by any means possible, including arresting all of his supporters.

I am convinced Milley is an alphabet person. I’m not sure which letter, but he is one.

I tell new engineers just out of college the same. They may have that brand new degree and be just like the second lieuie that just got his/her butter bars, but the senior designer and the maintenance technician in the refinery is the senior master sergeant. Yet I have seen too much of “I have a degree, he’s just a designer”.

Remember, FDR and his Advisors didn’t even tell Vice President Truman about the Atomic Bomb Project.

Truman found out about it when he assumed the Presidency.

POTUS Trump was an outsider, not part of the DC filth. For all intents and purposes he was the real live version of Mr. Smith goes to Washington.

He had to depend on the advice of the Republican Politicians that surrounded him. Who else could he depend on to help build his Administration?

For all the grief people here give him, he had to start from scratch working in a system he was completely unaware of.

Yep.

It was a miracle and testament to his sheer tenacity that he got anything done.

He needs another term starting in 2024.

Keep in mind this cheesy 4-star is doing this to be a lightning rod for Biden. It’s all agitprop.
