We live North West of China Lake and have noticed a drop in flights but it could be that I haven’t been around all the time. What I did notice that was out of the ordinary were five C-17s orbit my area for about 20 minutes one day. But who knows? Probably better to talk to a base personnel.
The C-17s have been tasked to drop British paratroopers on houses in California.
I live less than 10 miles from a Naval Air Station and I track aircraft via ADS-B using a Raspberry Pi and Flightaware software, I compile statistics on a daily basis and I’ve not seen any change in the pattern for months, based on historical information you can just about predict what days will have heavy traffic and what days will have very little traffic....

Go to Radar view - tracking map, then filter for military aircraft. You can see what they will allow you to see.
Gets pretty interesting sometimes.
More like wetbacks around the country.
Now that you mention it, I haven’t seen any of the fighter jets that I generally call my “private airshow” at least this week. I usually see them several times a week. I have seen some C-17s but maybe not as many?
I just figured it was because I’m super tired and busy this week but now that you mention it- it’s weird.
I live 10 miles south of Minot AFB. I haven’t seen any change in normal training flights.
Thank You for the Link !

Why not Minot, freezing the reason...
I’m guessing flight ops have been curbed way back until crews get their covid vaccines and have completed all of the Critical Race Theory training.
Or they could be in the middle of their transgender surgery.
The world is a t PEACE, now that the Democrats are in charge.

Hit -35 in Feb and trashed my wife’s battery in her Suburban.
If anything, there is about 25% more traffic since 1/20. Some days more, some less. YMMV.
A flurry of traffic in/out of Camp Delta, Guantanamo Bay NAS lately, now and for the last couple of weeks.
I would also suspect the Afghanistan withdrawal reduced the rotations of guard and reserve into overseas deployments which also reduces the rate of stateside training before deployment.
correction: for non-military-aviation traffic
We lived n the flight path for Wright-Pat - there were days when we would go out and watch the giant transports circling waiting to land - it was a spectacular and very loud sight.
