The old adage, “Never upset those who handle your food” rings true here, but the cop had no chance. Guilty by association. It’s stories like these that reinforce my lack of interest in any delivery service. I’ll get my food, whether from a restaurant or a grocery store, the old fashioned way.

A friend of mine used to work at a restaurant that used such online delivery services and they had to work up elaborate safeguards (tamperproof sealed packaging etc) to keep the outsourced/millennial delivery drivers from opening them to “look”/”taste”/”taint”.
