An 85-year-old woman from northern Israel died Monday, due to complications from the coronavirus, four days after her 86-year-old husband passed away from the same illness.
Both Rachel and Yitzhak Na’eh were fully vaccinated, but suffered from pre-existing conditions, according to Haifa’s Rambam Medical Center, where they were both treated.
The woman became the fourth vaccinated patient to succumb to complications from the coronavirus in one week, joining a 75-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man, along with her husband.

A few posts down is about a pool party in Vegas where 11 vaccinated and partially vaccinated people got it and recovered with no ill effects (like 95% of the cases without the vaccine)
So … does the vaccine actually do anything?
I wonder if history will be kind to the “leaders” in this area with regards to availability of prophylaxis such as HcQ and Ivermectin in treatment of COVID?

Regardless of where people stand on how the virus originated, the point is to treat it like the wartime threat that it is instead of some inconvenience to shake off. This is not going to be over in one sitting. “Yay vaccine shots done and bam! Back to normal!”
There needs to be a way that people figure out how to adjust to the long term reality of Covid while not shutting everything down. I personally believe masks, temperature checks in closed quarters, distancing, are part of the conversation. But not stupidly so. Which is what has been the case this entire run, especially in our country.
In parts of Asia, people where masks regardless because of pollution and go about their daily lives and their economies are thriving. Their public spaces are immaculate with or without a pandemic. Our cities operate like little more than pig sties by comparison.
Among the worst aspects of all this is the resistance in the part of NIH/CDC to advocate for adequate but less than perfect TREATMENTS for COVID.
The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are 95% effective. The J&J vaccine is 80% effective.
Presently about 168 million Americans are fully vaccinated.
If we just go with 95% effectiveness, 5% have a risk of still becoming ill from Covid or a variant with profound symptoms.
That means over 75,000 people are vaccinated but can still become ill with Covid or a variant.
We see just a drop in a bucket of those 5% people reported in media, main stream or various social media sources.
So it’s even more than the daily trickle of a few here or there.
But, it’s totally expected. It’s not a shocking expectation. IMO
Pretty sure God will look at that as murder.

All depends on who will write that history.
Those numbers on efficacy are based on less than ideal contextual trials as they were performed before emergence of new variants, on a small subset of people, with very little passage of time.
95% effective compared to what? Were they exposing test subjects to the virus during the testing phase?
My daughter is a massage therapist. She found she was getting sick from people who just got the vax so she sent a mass email to all her clients telling them they have to wait 30 days after the shot before she will see them.
RIP. :(
"Pre-existing conditions" in vax articles reads like,
"Oh we see that you already have one foot in the grave so let us help you onto this banana peel so you won't fall in."

Yes, the vaccine does something. First it made certain big pharma people even richer at taxpayer expense and it offered the governments of the world a way to instill fear and control so they can get The Great Reset going - which is really going to turn us all into Cuba.

Well, for my family we’ ARE back to normal. Every one of my family has immunity either from vaccination or naturally from having had COVID-19. Any additional exposure to the virus merely strengthens our existing immunity.
Your “conversation” can include masks, temperature checks and distancing but please don’t subject us to them or require us to do them.

Well, during the DOUBLE BLINDED trials the tens of thousands of those who received the actual vaccine were as exposed as the tens of thousands who received the placebo.
The statistical validity of the results may be beyond your ability to comprehend but most FReepers “get it”.
