I’ll check this out.

Not particularly a KC/Fripp fan, but always interested in the guitfiddle.

When Steve Vai was playing for Frank Zappa he would give him album credit for “impossible guitar parts”. Frank was quite the player himself so that was about as good of a tribute to one’s skills as you can get.

Well since it’s been recorded it’s obviously not impossible to play. But it sure as hell ain’t easy.

King Crimson was hardly understood in MY rock daze of the late sixties/early seventies.

I have a better appreciation for them now, than then.

I think they were appreciated more by a male psyche than female and THAT may have been an element keeping them from major "success"

We were after all, having a BALL getting laid in those daze

Incredible guitar playing on the video! It's a fusion of classical music and prog rock. Good stuff IMHO!

And no, this will not be everyone's cup of tea.

King Crimson was hardly understood in MY rock daze of the late sixties/early seventies.

Although categorized as such, I'd be reluctant to label them as "rock"...they are much more than that. There are a few others as well.

I agree, but it was a simpler statement to make.

I'm 73 and re-watching videos from the late sixties and early seventies has shown me that my understanding ... of a lot of things in a lot of areas ... were different then than now.

I can vegetate in the 50's/60's music as well.
