Being-a match is real unusual

From what I heard, the recipient was also a match. They just gave the organ to the wrong person in line on the waitlist.

They have done only 95 this year sounds like a small transplant program.

They do 190 per year. Which doesn’t make the top 10, but it’s a significant number. US News has them ranked #25 in the country in nephrology. Cleveland Clinic across the street is ranked #5.

They messed up big time. But I don’t see them losing their program any time soon.

I used to consult on transplants program payments .
Matching is a what holds up many on the list .
CMS will come down hard on this error.
