A dear cousin succumbed to a reoccurrence of cancer because there were no non-emergency doctors office visits.
The best friend I’ve ever had died of pneumonia in May.
He had been getting repeated appointments to diagnose the problem for a year ... but it turns out that pneumonia can’t be diagnosed over the telephone.
When he was finally hospitalized there was nothing they could do for him.

Government is able to prove anything with numbers. Just like the Covid fatality rates were inflated originally, the cost associated with all these idiotic government knee jerk reactions (politically motivated in an election year) will be minimized. In fact, they may not even look, so there will be nothing to see. Wanna bet inflation will be just slightly higher when they give their official report? Oh look, since 1994 there is no linkage between pedophilia and homosexuality, because the DOJ no longer collects that data. Now NASA that gets a budget for studying “climate change” suddenly sees the threat. Islamic terrorism, what’s that? That don’t exist anymore, now we have “insurrectionists.” And it’s all based on numbers and science - objective and rational decision making. Hahaha
Once they manage to doctor up the numbers, the border will be OK also. They just need to shut up the few that are speaking out, and then do what they always do, create the reports to justify the political expedient course of action.
But those “insurrectionists” we need to go after... Hahaha

The heads of all agencies and departments are political appointees, two levels down from them you have a bunch of bureaucrats sucking up to them that are hand picked by these political appointees. What do you think happens?
Government is a political animal, and when they talk about “following the science” or what is in the best interest of the public, it’s laughable (like Cuomo’s order for senior living homes to take back Covid positive patients). Every decision made, every communication to the public goes through a political consideration filter.
