LOS ANGELES - With local COVID-19 infection numbers surging upward, topping 1,000 new cases for the fifth straight day, Los Angeles County supervisors Tuesday lamented continued resistance to vaccines while health officials announced an outreach effort to bring shots to people's doors.
The county reported 1,103 new COVID cases on Tuesday, lifting the cumulative total from throughout the pandemic to 1,259,772. The county also reported 12 new fatalities due to the virus, increasing the death toll to 24,554.

As I told people about this time last year, look for our dear leaders to pivot from Covid deaths to Covid “cases” to try to keep the panic going. Of course, the true numbers about deaths and cases may never be known because of all of the hysteria and outright lying.
So—you are claiming that after a year and a half has passed a highly contagious disease has only spread to 27% of the population?
That is a very hard swallow....of course since nobody seems to want to test for antibodies there is no way to tell...
Oddly the numbers seem to be going up everywhere and all the government can scream is “comply harder”.
Note they also aren’t breaking out the percentages of vaxxed vs non-vaxxed people who are getting it. They’ll break it out by race and ethnicity and how many ventilators are in use - but for some reason they don’t think it’s worthwhile to break out those who are “protected” from those who aren’t.

If only the PCR test actually identified the Covid virus or the Covid illness. Alas, it does not.
I believe they are flat out lying.
I believe the rise in illness is among the vaccinated.
The article states every single illness is among those not fully vaccinated. Does that mean 1 dose? Other countries have detected a 40% rise in Covid in the first few weeks after the first dose.
They go on to say that the county is 69% vaccinated. With the number of people already having been exposed to Covid or other similar Coronavirus, I don’t beleive they can have a catatrsophe on their hands. Just more ‘blame the unvaccinated’. Joe Biden should be happy they are at the 69% vaccination mark. However, it obviously doesn’t addresss illness rates. The problem is among the vaccinated.
How much of the "surge" in cases is directly attributable to these illegals?

My Wisconsin county of 20k has been stuck at 1780 cases/15 deaths for several months.
We are 70%+ MAGA and only 38.5% vaxxed and yet, this is NOT one of the counties with door knockers. We are also the county with the most tourism in WI. I saw zero masks this week and all events are proceeding as if it was 2019.
If the cases were real, that means every case is one step closer to herd immunity.
