The Greek docs observed that the vibrations allowed pus to drain from wounds more freely (yuck) while also healing the wounds faster.Maggots (fly larvae) have also been used to eat away dead tissue, promoting healing. Double yuck!

The gym where my wife works has one, but hardly anyone ever uses it, so I’m told. I’ve always been curious about the possible benefits. This article seems to give a reasonable analysis.

Yes double yuck, but the maggots kept the wound from becoming infected and indeed did help with the healing.

Dry brushing your skin with a bristle brush towards your heart while standing on a wbv bench might be more effective.
I have a Solo Flex vibration bench. I can do stretches and certain yoga poses on it.
