I have no sympathy for workers complaining about going to in person work....
the lives of nurses and aides and therapists and doctors and all the other many people that MUST work hands on are just as important if not more so to people able to stroke the computer screens at home....
sorry for the rant but my buttons just got pushed....
Hey that’s cool and I appreciate what you do. My job role does not mandate me being present. There is no requirement for me to be in physical contact with anyone.
Thank you for your post.
I am a a Med Tech and worked through the worst of the pandemic.
We lost 9 of our patients, many whom I had worked with
for many years. The worst night was Christmas evening.
The daughter of one of my patients had to stand out in the
sleet and rain. I tried everything I knew how to do to
get her Mom to look out the window. All that poor lady
could see was the reflection of herself and me.
The tears on her daughters face while standing underneath
her umbrella was just heartbreaking.
Tears in the rain..
Freebird I have not taken the vaccine, nor will I.
Yes, I caught the covid illness, that was back in November.
here I am, still working everyday.
Your greatest enemy is NOT Covid!
Your greatest enemy is FEAR.
You know what the guidelines are, so practice them!
Most of all, keep your hands AWAY FROM YOUR FACE!
