Ladies, what do you think?
>>Iris van Herpen’s collection for Paris Haute Couture Week consists of five gowns covered in intricate, elaborate lace. It’s hard to believe that the ethereal dresses are made entirely from trash.
Did they eat bugs at the banquet afterwards and retire to a tiny house while riding in an electric golf cart?
Our overlords are laughing at the simpleton peons.
If the idea to to take some eye catching photos, it works but they seem highly impractical.
And how “durable” is it?
Can it be exhibited in a museum in 50 years or will decay/rot have set in?
That is truly astonishing work. Have to hand it to the designer / creator for creativity.
They sure don’t have to worry about the beauty of the models detracting from the designs.
Amazing! I especially love the white one!
They’ll end up in Hollywood and Trash will wear them
The new uniforms for the Washington football team.
They are beautiful. To repurpose trash into these is amazing. Not something I’d ever wear. But I prefer it over the latest fashion of soy boys in feminine get ups that no woman would wear.
Looks like someone took a little nap on ‘hair’ day.
Wrong adjectives used to describe those creations.
Gorgeous works of art! Great creativity!
Put them in the food saver....
They look like haute couture(amazing to have come from plastic trash). The models are lovely too.
Hmmm...
IMHO, as a man, TRASHY...
The black robed one is simply perfect to stop by the post office.
“We only have 10 years to make big changes before we will begin facing terrible consequences on the planet.”
Yet, the designer made totally useless clothing no one will ever wear outside this photo session.
Haute Couture is not meant to practical. It’s pretentious BS.
What you see in the fashion mags displayed and advertised ( which is dying) is what is wearable.
I’ll never forget the dress “used” by Michelle Obama at the “coronation”. Seamstresses had to add a foot-long gusset on either side to make it fit over her girth.
I’m no lady, but I can see myself in #2 next time I go to Walmart!
I'm sure the Cubans marching in the streets demanding their freedom, or the Uyghurs being subjected to slavery, and genocide by the Chi-coms will thoroughly enjoy these outfits, don't you?
Somebody give that girl in the white a sammich!
