For most people, the most power they will ever have to stop abusive government, is when serving on a jury.
Agreed which is why I do not understand the almost universal reluctance and even hostility toward jury duty. Especially among conservatives.
What is really strange is when the same people who advocate for a military draft scream like a turpentined monkey when asked to take a few hours to sit in a court room and decide if someone actually broke a law and should be punished or not.
