Remember that the rioters will be armed too. Plan to stay in cover or concealment. Pick individual targets and use slow aimed fire. The closest ones are the priority. Those carrying visible weapons are second. Nobody else matters.
If some of them break and run, let them go. It will spread panic in their ranks and hasten their departure. You don't have enough ammo, or hard-hearted friends to get them all.
Do not stay in one spot too long. You will draw return fire.
Get a crew together to clean up the mess afterwards. Nobody is coming to save you. If the police ever do show up, they will not be your friends. Do not lie to them. Do not speak to them at all.
The new normal is going to be quite a bit worse than the old awful.
