American Airlines passengers were filmed with their hands on their heads on a flight from Los Angeles to Miami on Wednesday. All passengers aboard the flight 2289 “were ordered to put their hands on their heads for 45-60 minutes before landing,” according to passenger Chris Nguyen, who filmed part of the bizarre incident:

Was the suspect at the ‘insurrection’ in DC on January 6?
Does he use LEGOS?

Nope. Wouldn’t do it. They don’t have the right to force that onto passengers.

Who gave the order? Was there a bomb on the plane? I think the American public deserves to know much more than this, but especially those passengers.
"Miss, are you telling us absolutely everything?"
"Not exactly. We're also out of coffee!"

Just another reason it should be legal to carry weapons on our person when flying.

I just drove to Minnesota and back from Connecticut as opposed to flying.
Didn't have to wear a stupid mask or deal with other nonsense the entire trip. Even with gas, food and hotel stops in Ohio, I still think I came out ahead. And I saw a lot of cows, corn fields and Trump signs along the way. Took some backroad county roads through Indiana to avoid construction delays.

Related: United Airlines Announces They Will No Longer Hire the Best Pilots I swore off United years ago. I pay more to get my long distance tickets with other airlines. United can make a 14 hour flight truly miserable and your luggage has probably a chance of never being loaded in the first place but rather sent straight to the warehouse and you will not get it back or compensated. United is cheaper but not worth the savings. This from a cheapskate.

Apparently this was 2 days ago. It says due to security threat. I haven’t seen any follow-up

"Ordered"?
What if you didn't comply? It's not like they could tell you to get off.
This doesn't make sense.

Is there really any legal authority for such an order? It is one thing to require a passenger to stay in his seat.
To: Ann Archy
Not always, afaik. Here in the southwest it is too hot. They ask us to keep the shades down to keep the plane cool for the next ride.

The first question to be asked is....Who actually did it?
Once that is determined, feel free to take the sheep to the nearest cattle car, where they’ll be transported to the nearest camp for their well being.
This country is so f*cked up.

All passengers aboard the flight 2289 “were ordered to put their hands on their heads for 45-60 minutes before landing,” In Normalville that's called a hijacking. Didn't these passengers learn anything from 911?
