“Long even implied it, saying we’d get fascism in America, but it would be called anti-fascism”
Talk about taking things out of context. He did said that if fascism ever came to America, it would be called Liberalism. That is not saying that he approved of it.
Now, back to my point, cite one thing that utterly labels him as fascistic. Now remember, I cautioned you that repeating endlessly an assertion does not prove your case.
How the hell do you think Long was going to be able to implement his “Share The Wealth” program? You think people were just going to willingly give up their wealth?
You’re the only one here who seems to ignore what Huey Long was. He certainly was not an individual pledged to limited government, free markets and ethical & moral governance. He was a tin-pot totalitarian dictator who wanted to take his dog & pony show from Winnfield to the White House.
