Who needs newspapers when we have government press secretaries and AppleNews to tell us what’s important. Like, Brittany Spears’ conservatorship hearing and the 3rd rate British immigrant prince’s production deal with Netflix. All very important developments for a self-governing and aware citizenry.

So journalists who already have an overwhelming bias towards one party and the idea of Big Government will be permanently wedded to that same Big Government. We have already seen how dangerous it is for TRUTH and FREEDOM when political bias dominates the coverage of major events.

As for the importance of print newspapers, you'd think that in a digital age the left would think that print newspapers are both obsolete and an environmental hazard. We already got rid of telephone books in many places.
