So journalists who already have an overwhelming bias towards one party and the idea of Big Government will be permanently wedded to that same Big Government. We have already seen how dangerous it is for TRUTH and FREEDOM when political bias dominates the coverage of major events.

As for the importance of print newspapers, you'd think that in a digital age the left would think that print newspapers are both obsolete and an environmental hazard. We already got rid of telephone books in many places.

The remaining telephone directory books are less than half the size of their forebears, too.

As we both note, nobody wants to pay to be lied to. If the logic is that hard copies are more secure than the digital equivalent, then print objective truth.
