During an interview on CNN's "State of the Union," Fauci agreed that vaccine mandates should become a reality on the "local level."
"I have been of this opinion, and I remain of that opinion, that I do believe at the local level, Jake, there should be more mandates. There really should be," Fauci told host Jake Tapper.
"We're talking about life-and-death situation. We have lost 600,000 Americans already, and we're still losing more people. There have been 4 million deaths worldwide. This is serious business. So, I am in favor of that," he added.
In fact, Fauci foreshadowed what may come in the near future: vaccine mandates when the Food and Drug Administration gives the vaccines official approval.
Currently, COVID vaccines being used in the U.S. have been awarded emergency authorization only.
I think the hesitancy at the local level of doing mandates is because the vaccines have not been officially fully approved. But people need to understand that the amount of data right now that shows a high degree of effectiveness and a high degree of safety is more than we have ever seen with emergency use authorization. So, these vaccines are as good as officially approved with all the I's dotted and the T's crossed. It hasn't been done yet because the FDA has to do certain things, but it's as good as done.

My wife and I both got Johnson & Johnson shots at Walmart on March 23rd of this year. We chose to. We vehemently oppose Fauci and vaccine mandates here in this country. This is not a communist country. Let us not let it be turned into one by a clown like Fauci. He and Dr. Baric are responsible, more than anyone else in this country for creating the virus. He is also trying to create the fear to keep the pandemic going by his statements every day in the news media. Ignore the silly man. Resist!

It’s the boiling frog metaphor. The state grows by increments. Dragging people from their homes and forcibly vaxxing them is too draconian right now. Instead, they’ll make life incrementally harder, and more expensive, for the unvaxxed.

I will prove the opposite however, that the vaxxed folks are having such terrible side effects that the decision to vax is way more costly. Please see that 12 year old girl who is screwed up for life, tragic, on feeding tubes etc.

HAHAHA If I tried to refuse income tax and guess what will happen? Armed govt agents will show up and haul my as to jail.
So there is no choice there.
As for any medical procedures, those should never be mandated by gov’t. Private outfits can set whatever rules they want to set to protect their workers, including medical requirements.
That makes a lot of sense. I wonder how many they would have to jail or kill to achieve an acceptable vaccinated population in America? I think the answer from the “powers that be” is as many as possible. Why else would there be this serious discussion over something that has a 99% survival rate? You and your family will either take ake the shot or else.
Bring it Dr. Fraudci, I’ll mandate something for you.
