We have a dear Irish descent friend who, every St. Patrick’s Day, brings us a loaf of her famous Irish Soda Bread. We don’t mind that uninvited visit at all!

Another dear friend (our kids’ preschool teacher 30 years ago) just dropped off a nice present for my wife’s retirement. Didn’t mind that call, either.
