"I let Paul know of the options Marty had laid out for me. Of course, he vehemently denied that I had any choices at all. I was just an actress, just a woman; what choices could I have?" Stone recalled. "But I did have choices. So I thought and thought and I chose to allow this scene in the film. Why? Because it was correct for the film and for the character; and because, after all, I did it."

Marty was her attorney...She did state that she slapped the director across his face...

I believe Mr. Verhoeven, the director, in this case...Not Sharon Stone...

BASIC INSTINCTS came out in 1992...I did watch it when it first came out...I have to mention that Sharon Stone was topless in many moments in that film...

There was BASIC INSTINCTS 2 in 2006...It was not a good sequel...Sharon Stone was topless in many moments in that film...

Sharon Stone is 63 years old now...

About Paul Verhoeven...I have seen many of his films...ROBOCOP, TOTAL RECALL, BASIC INSTINCT, SHOWGIRLS, STARSHIP TROOPERS, HOLLOW MAN, and BLACK BOOK...

BLACK BOOK is the most recent Verhoeven film I have seen...It is about Dutch Resistance during WW2...Yes, the film has nudity...But, I thought that it was a good war movie...His latest movie, BENEDETTA, is about lesbian nuns...

Nobody has to trick Sharon Stone to do nude scenes.

Back then she laughed all the way to the bank, now she whines and throws down a victim card. She’s dating a twenty something rapper, she’s a twisted sick puppy.

A lot of women do things that they regret or feel angry about later. And then, all of a sudden, it’s “Look what that bastard did! He totally tricked me!”

A little personal responsibility can go a long way.

Read Joe Esterhaus’s book on this, he wrote the screenplay, he backs up the director on this.

tone was ok in nico: above the law (1988) but she was relegated to playing a character actor role in that movie, below steven seagal.

Yet in the picture of her in the article, she’s wearing a shirt showing her in that scene (sans exposed vagina, of course). I don’t believe her for a second.

So that huge movie camera and all the lights aimed directly at your crotch weren’t a hint? Give me a break.

“...under the pretense that her private area wouldn’t be visible on film.”

Once they believe that “nudity is essential to the plot,” they’ll believe anything.

I never saw what everyone said they saw. If they did, it was a nano second peek. With that said, this trollop of an actress has never had any problem with getting naked in a film. Even in Irreconcilable Differences, when she played the part of a young bimbette (and was, at that time, a young bimbette) stealing Ryan Oneal's character from Shelly Long, she had no issue with showing her t*ts.

In the Oprah Winfrey interview teaser posted in the article, she blames "the white male society" for feeling worthless (because of age). The truth of the matter is when she was in her heyday, she probably bedded every 'white' director/film maker there was; old, married or not, made no difference, thus making the older women, wives at that time feel like she does now. She was a big contributor to that mindset. queue Alanis Morissette's 'Ironic'

As most any teenage boy knows, if you just ask a girl to remove her underwear, she will. Right.

I also remember when they were shooting the MTV video, “Money for Nothing”, they used a lingerie model who kept demanding to take off her lingerie, because she would get paid more for a shoot in the nude. She was so annoying that they allowed her to do the nude shoot with the offer of more money, and then asked her to put her lingerie back on, and do the scene, figuring to just edit out the nude stuff later.

Gee I dunno...I’m sure I’m naive...but I think it would be hard to trick me into doing a nude scene. I’m sure it’s just me.

No one was as hungry for fame and attention as Stone was at that time. She probably came up with the idea herself.
