Since Deep State says it does.
Then as soon as it lands you can tell them to take their fine and cram it where the sun don’t shine.
And the FAA will use the IRS to steal the money. And then comes the CIA and FBI if guns are drawn. Watch out the FCC isn’t far behind to block your internet access too.
In any case, people stopped being passengers decades ago.
Now they’re cargo.
Exactly the Constitution is for we the people not we the airborne people.
That's one of many reason why I don't fly. I can't stand fat, ugly and faggot flight attendants. They all have become bitches. Not at all like the old days.
FWIW, I don’t care what the FAs look like.
I care that I’m being charged through the nose to be squeezed into a tin can like a sardine. That I can’t get a direct flight to anywhere but crime-ridden hell holes I don’t even want to transfer through, that I can drive quicker than I could fly in many cases, that ontime is a lie, that my baggage gets lost.
I haven’t flown in over a decade.
Won’t be flying any time soon.
BTW, I’m old enough to remember what flying used to be like.
Another reason why I drive or don’t go.
I am sorry, what crime? what conviction?
Some of us need to travel, and it takes too long to cross the sea by boat…
You can't be seriously asking us for advice about how to "game" the system (e.g., poking little holes in the mask, etc.)!
Attending an art exhibition is definitely not a life-and-death matter.
Either stay home, or drive!
Regards,
They could do a lot more than fine you. If.your actions are interfering with the crew which includes flight attendants from doing their job they can and will throw you in jail with a felony record. Never NEVER mess with an FAA certified flight crew member.
Notice the clause of interfering it’s separate from the assault clause one does not have to include the other. That comma is very important as is the or which in legal English is exclusive as in either or not the common inclusive or.
49 U.S. Code § 46504.Interference with flight crew members and attendants
U.S. Code

An individual on an aircraft in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States who, by assaulting or intimidating a flight crew member or flight attendant of the aircraft, interferes with the performance of the duties of the member or attendant or lessens the ability of the member or attendant to perform those duties, or attempts or conspires to do such an act, shall be fined under title 18, imprisoned for not more than 20 years, or both. However, if a dangerous weapon is used in assaulting or intimidating the member or attendant, the individual shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life.

If you know someone who sews, you could probably have a couple made that APPEAR to be pleated, but are just strips across, with openings at each strip, or one in the middle. You might be able to achieve this yourself, with scissors and a store-bought mask, but look for the style with horizontal pleats.
Max fine was increased by Congress to $37,000 per incident, they have the full weight of congressional law behind them only the Supreme Court could strike down the fines.
https://www.faa.gov/data_research/passengers_cargo/unruly_passengers/
“The repercussions for passengers who engage in unruly behavior can be substantial. They can be fined by the FAA or prosecuted on criminal charges.
As part of the FAA’s Reauthorization Bill (PDF) FAA can propose up to $37,000 per violation for unruly passenger cases. Previously, the maximum civil penalty per violation was $25,000. One incident can result in multiple violations.

I just flew from Boston to Dallas 2 days ago. I think I wore more my mask properly for about an hour total. This was American Airlines. The rest of the time I had it around my chin or off completely while I ate or drank. Nobody said shit. Maybe it’s different on other airlines.
The FAA is not a medical agency. They can offer no proof that the masks help in the least. I’m thinking these fines are to make up lost revenue. The more this crap is pushed, the more lost revenue there should be. For those who don’t have to fly because of business obligations, I would say ...”Don’t Fly”. I sure don’t intend to until they get over this foolishness.
Love it!
The airlines are going to go out of business.
This will kill Europe, no tourists.
This will kill California, no tourists.
This will kill the Bahamas, no tourists.
If I can’t drive there, then I’ll stay at home.
All the idiots at the airlines that actually believe that masks protect anyone from a virus deserve to be out of business. It’s all fiction and no real science.
If they had the Science to back up their actions, I might comply, but.....they do not. Pseudo science at best.
The airlines are the only “service” that attempts to criminalize customer complaints.
Any other industry would implode if they acted like the carriers, driven by the flight attendants union.
It’s great fun to fly foreign carriers: the whole experience is the opposite. American carriers? The crews act like you’re cattle and they’re the herders.
It’s not up to the FAA they are under the executive branch and so is the CDC which has ordered the FAA to enforce a executive branch ruling of the mask mandate. Only only Congress can via legislation and a veto proof majority override the executive branch you know that grade school checks and balances thing.
That said since the FAA is under executive orders to enforce the mask mandate they have the full force of USC code on their side they can fine up top $250,000 and 20 years in jail for assaulting a flight attendant, up to $37,000 per incident for just disobedience to a flight attendant who is giving instructions based on executive mandate. You have zero recourse to not obey while in flight the crew have absolute authority while airborne and the full force of the federal government’s agency’s behind them the FIBs will take over in a flash at the request of a flight crew as will US Marshals the ride won’t be fun not cheap. Rand Paul has said as soon as the Senate is back in session he will try to get a law passed to revoke the CDC mask mandate but I doubt chairman Xi will sign it so it will need to be veto proof.
