I agreed to visit my friend in Minnesota for a gallery exhibition of hers that will be opening soon, and I will be flying there.

You can't be seriously asking us for advice about how to "game" the system (e.g., poking little holes in the mask, etc.)!

Attending an art exhibition is definitely not a life-and-death matter.

Either stay home, or drive!

Regards,

Of course it’s not life or death to go there. It’s the first chance my friends and I have had to meet in person since 2019. We used to see each other every year. There are 4 of us all across the US and we’ve been friends since grade school. This particular friend is having her first exhibition. She is a relatively new artist, and I want to be there to support her. That’s what friends do. It’s a time to celebrate, and in my humble opinion, time also to move ON past COVID. For over a year I’ve had to put up with wearing masks. I have trouble breathing with them on. I am fully vaccinated. The air on the planes is filtered. I would prefer to stop with this nonsense. I’m sure I will wear a mask, but I’m under no illusion that they protect me or you from viruses. Because I haven’t worn a mask for over an hour in a long long time, I’m really not looking forward to doing that again.

Be well, FRiend.
