LOL - talk about yer confirmation bias! I’ve been concerned about veiled (and not-so) comments on FR, saw one that agreed with what I thought and assumed without reading the article that the poster was correct. Mea culpa! And thanks for the correction.

I also understand it. Since McDonald’s stopped salting the fries when the grease is still hot they are inedible. Even adding salt later just doesn’t do it.

For what it’s worth, eating too much salt (short of gulping it down) has been DEBUNKED as a health concern. There is a much higher risk of having too little salt.
