Old bag. Reminds me of the Carol Burnett bit where she played an old actress that tore down curtains to wear.
“Reminds me of the Carol Burnett bit where she played an old actress that tore down curtains to wear”
I remember that show. I also remember a cartoon in the Saturday Evening Post showing a plump lady how a sample of fabric would look on her. He wrapped it around a large column nearby.
Vivien Leigh was brunette, not bleached blonde.
Some first ladies to tend to favor drapery/upholstery
fabric. Seems a many of them just decorated their homes
and had fabric to spare - thus the garments on parade.
Certainly miss our first lady; the one who was ignored for years due to the fact she is beautiful and her choice of a
spouse.
BTW - IIRC recently read that Daddy Joe and Mommy (the Doctor) both harbored drug addictions H/T Hunters laptop from Hell. Drugs give strange illusions, all out of focus.
LOL. Exactly.

You are thinking about Carol Burnett’s “Gone With The Wind” skit called “Went With The Wind”.
One of the funniest moments in TV history. Carol’s curtain dress was genius.
The skit was based on Gone With the Wind. In that movie, Scarlett needs a dress to wear and the only material they have is the green drapes. In Carol Burnett's skit which spoofed the movie, she does the same but leaves in the curtain rod in the dress because she was zany that way.
That scene still holds the record for longest studio laugh, I believe.
I know I laughed until I cried
