No, that's not forced vaccination. That's vaccination as a condition of employment which we've done in healthcare and institutional settings for decades.
You don't have to get the shot but they don't have to hire you if you dont.

No, it isn't. Employers impose conditions all the time. Thousands of them require drug tests, for instance.
That doesn't mean they're forcing you to take a drug test but you must if you want to work there.
Now, if you were forced to work somewhere and the employer required vaccination you would have a point.
In the case of New Mexico, the employer is the State of New Mexico and they forced their staff to get an experimental treatment that is explicitly not allowed as per the Emergency Use Authorization.

He caught Covid before the Vaccines were

No they didn't. They said the job involved working with prisoners so if he wanted that job he had to be vaccinated.

While I would agree that the vaccine has hurt people, it also has saved countless lives.
