Why would an 18 year old take a vaccine that is only recommended for those 60 and over. Frankly, if I was under 30 and healthy... I wouldn’t bother getting vaccinated.

Sadly I am much older than that, so I got 2 doses of AZ with no aftereffects, like 99% of the people who’ve been jabbed with AZ.

If your risk of death from covid is 0.001%... Don’t bother getting vaccinated. Even if you get Covid, you will survive and be immune from Covid thereafter.

Because thinking is hard, and people don't like to think for themselves, and it's easier to believe authority figures like Fauci than to think for themselves.

If I were under 30 and working in an ER, I'd probably get the vaccine. If under 30 and working from home on a computer, probably not.

People should have been encouraged to make their own risk assessments, rather than to uncritically listen to experts. Some people will make the wrong decisions, but the experts have been wrong more often than they have been right.

First, the gov’t. approved the AZ for those under 50. The very next day, it was approved for those under 55. Then they retracted their earlier guidelines and put a stop to all AZ vaccinations. Then, they approved it for those over 60. At the same time, local gov’t. were allowed to organize ‘Open Days’ for those over 18, and then they ‘reinforced’ the over 60 guidelines. Then they said that the 2nd dose must be of the mRNA variety and then yet again, they decided to permit the vector vaccines for the 2nd dose. These are the Italian Follies.
