Why would an 18 year old take a vaccine that is only recommended for those 60 and over. Frankly, if I was under 30 and healthy... I wouldn’t bother getting vaccinated.
Sadly I am much older than that, so I got 2 doses of AZ with no aftereffects, like 99% of the people who’ve been jabbed with AZ.
If your risk of death from covid is 0.001%... Don’t bother getting vaccinated. Even if you get Covid, you will survive and be immune from Covid thereafter.

Because thinking is hard, and people don't like to think for themselves, and it's easier to believe authority figures like Fauci than to think for themselves.
If I were under 30 and working in an ER, I'd probably get the vaccine. If under 30 and working from home on a computer, probably not.
People should have been encouraged to make their own risk assessments, rather than to uncritically listen to experts. Some people will make the wrong decisions, but the experts have been wrong more often than they have been right.
